| Indian government financing Rs 136 crore on discrimination in the source |
Indian government fined a billion rupees worth Rs 36 billion on violation of competitive laws.
According to the Indian media, the CCI (Compression Commission of India) has penalized 136 Internet money for illegally using its Internet search engine, its involvement in interference and discrimination.
CCI in its 190-page decision said that the US firm Google has exploited them with their rivals and marketing companies during online web search, which has also caused consumers to suffer and Google search engines benefited their partners during the search process, which led to the monopoly rather than the competition atmosphere.
On the other hand, Google's spokesperson has said that the decision is being reviewed after which the next step will be decided.
